We are looking for a Sales Associate to Join our Flock!

Immediate opening for an outgoing, energetic sales associate with some retail experience and great people skills to work 15-30 hours per week. Ultimate responsibility is to work with our sales team to create an unsurpassed customer experience. Our training program will teach a nature lover the bird, hobby, product and sales knowledge needed to work with our great customers! Our service standards require the ability to carry 40 lbs. of seed and the effort needed to create an exceptional in-store experience.

Position considerations include:

• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Friendly, outgoing disposition
• Wild bird feeding experience is not required, but is helpful (training provided)
• Interest in nature and wildlife is a requirement
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. (two 20 lb. bags) of bird seed
• Ability to climb a 5 foot ladder
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and spend extended periods of time on one's feet
• Comfortable with computers and able to use a computer-based POS system and excel spreadsheets (training provided)
• We are open 7 days a week and associates are expected to be available some weekends as well as weekdays, although scheduling will vary
• NO EVENINGS! We close at 6 pm Monday thru Friday; at 5 pm Saturday and 4 pm on Sundays. We are also closed all major holidays.
